La scena si sposta su Gamabunta.
Gamabunta: Merda...! Pare abbia un bel po' di ossa rotte. Le altre due rane sono ancora a terra prive di conoscenza.

La scena torna su Shikamaru & company.

Ino in lacrime: Se fossimo stati piu' forti questo non sarebbe mai successo...!
Shikamaru: La morte di Shizune non deve essere inutile, lei stava indagando sul segreto di Pein e da queste sue ricerche dobbiamo andare avanti....!
Shikaku: Giusto, Inoichi tu con i tuoi Jutsu dovresti essere in grado di capire la posizione del controllore di Pein.

La scena torna su Naruto.

Naruto cerca di liberarsi, Pein colpisce Fukasaku con una spada nera, la stessa che uccise Jiraiya.
Fukasaku stramazza al suolo.

Shima corre disperata verso Fukasaku: Marito mio!

Naruto viene attratto verso Pein, Pein sempre con la stessa spada con ancora Fukasaku infilzato(nikoru: viva le rane al forno) tenta di colpire naruto, ma Fukasaku per effetto gravita' schizza via dalla spada e colpisce Naruto.
Pein afferra Naruto per la gola e lo scaglia a terra, con la stessa spada nera infilza Naruto alla gamba sinistra.
Fukasaku si trova a terra senza alcun segno di vita con Shima in lacrime chinata su di lui.
Pein: Kyuubi, dovresti darti una calmata con il mio Rinnegan
Naruto: Maledetto....Perche' stai facendo tutto questo!
Pein: Perche'...?Ero troppo concentrato nel distruggere Konoha per concentrarmi sul motivo....Ma adesso che vedo te ricordo il motivo per cui ho fatto tutto questo....E adesso te lo diro'....(Nikoru: Mi sa flashback in arrivo...)

La scena ritorna su Shikamaru e co.

Fukasaku helps Naruto get away from Pain but was stopped by Pain's
attraction jutsu.

Naruto gets stabbed by Pain in the left hand with the weird sword.
Shima sheds some tears for the fallen Fukasaku.

Naruto asks what the hell pain is.
Pain answers by saying, "What am I? Let's talk"
